“Jimmy Fitch is powerful vocal talent and songwriter…”
- Dave Moody, Grammy-nominated producer/President, Lamon Records.

Born and raised in Midlothian, Virginia, Jimmy Fitch is a seasoned singer, songwriter, and performer with a deep-rooted passion for music. His performing career began during his time as a student at Virginia Tech, where he frequently played (and partied!) at some of the downtown area's most popular bars, as well as at numerous events and parties for the University's fraternities and sororities.

He further expanded his skills while studying in the Bluegrass, Old-Time, and Country Music Studies program at East Tennessee State University. During his time at ETSU, Jimmy had the opportunity to study under and perform with numerous musicians and professionals in the music industry, enriching his musical experience and broadening his artistic horizons.

Jimmy's sound is distinguished by his commanding, rich voice, and can be described as a dynamic blend of classic and southern rock with a rich infusion of country, drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists. His influences range from Merle Haggard to Matchbox Twenty, Lynyrd Skynyrd to Alan Jackson, Keith Whitley to Jim Croce, and many more in between. Jimmy is a sucker for a well-written song, believing that great music transcends genres and resonates deeply with audiences, no matter their musical preferences.

In 2014, Jimmy recorded his debut EP, "Promised Land," in Austin, Texas, collaborating with some of the area's most respected musicians. This milestone marked the beginning of his journey as a recording artist, and he continues to independently release music to this day.

With over a decade of performance experience, Jimmy has become a staple in the Richmond music scene. His powerful voice and compelling stage presence have earned him the opportunity to open for numerous national touring acts at some of his favroite local music venues, including Shooter Jennings (son of Outlaw Country legend Waylon Jennings), William Clark Green, The Wilder Blue, Jason Eady, Ward Davis, and Jason Boland & The Stragglers, Eric Paslay, and Danielle Bradbery.

Jimmy Fitch continues to captivate audiences with his authentic sound and heartfelt performances, making him a beloved figure in the regional music community and beyond.
